I am Marcy, owner of Diaperco, and mother of two adorable little girls. While I was pregnant with my first child, I began researching cloth diapers. I believed cloth diapers would be better for the baby, especially if she inherited my sensitive skin. I also am very concerned about the environment and just couldn't bring myself to add another ton of solid waste to our landfills. At first I was going to get a diaper service, because I thought washing diapers at home would be way too much trouble. But the more I read, plus the fact that I couldn't find a diaper service around here, I decided I would go ahead and get the diapers and wash them myself. Of course everyone told me I was crazy, but I already knew that. I found out that I love cloth diapers! I also don't mind washing them at all.
My husband and I have worked from home since 2001, running a retail internet website selling computer and video game accessories. It is a great arrangement and we haven't driven each other nuts yet. I decided I wanted to start a website selling something I was interested in, since the other website had been his idea. So I decided to start diaperco.com.
There are so many choices in cloth diapers today - fitted diapers, all in ones, pocket diapers - It can seem very overwhelming to those just starting out. If you have any questions at all feel free to email me and I would be happy to help you out.
