What does Version 1 Mean?
Thirstes is coming out with Version 2 June 30th. There will only be a slight difference between V 1 and V 2. Version 2 Thirsties AIOs will no longer have the fleece lining the inside of the gussets. This change should help prevent any wicking problems people may experience when the insert is saturated. The insert will also be slightly wider for a little more absorbency.

Introducing a Pocket All-In-One (AIO) cloth diaper from Thirsties that marries the colorful and breathable waterproof outer layer and the absorbent core soaker so your baby's cloth diaper goes on in one simple step. Thirsties Pocket All-In-Ones simply wrap around baby and fasten with sturdy velcro for a perfect fit at every diaper change. The built-in absorbent core is made from our specialty microfiber terry which absorbs up to seven times its weight in liquid! This makes for a very absorbent diaper, without the added bulk.
Perhaps the most beloved feature of Thirsties Pocket All-In-Ones are the leg gussets. The leg gusset attribute allows for the same excellent leak-proof protection no matter the shape of your baby. Whether you have a chunky baby, or a tall and lean baby, the leg gussets provide the protection you need by gently and completely sealing the leg openings. The pliable leg gussets flex and move with your baby, offering a comfortable and superior safeguard against leaks whether you have a developing and kicking newborn or a curious and energetic toddler who is constantly on the go. Thirsties Pocket All-In-Ones are shaped for a trimmer appearance and are the most comfortable and convenient for your mobile baby. The inner liner of our custom-made microfleece forms a stay-dry barrier between your baby and the diaper and offers wetness protection for baby's delicate skin. The unique pocket opening on a Thirsties Pocket All-In-One cloth diaper allows the addition of extra absorbency during extended wear. If you find you need to adapt the absorbency of the diaper, we recommend stuffing the pocket with a stable absorbency layer such as a hemp insert or doubler. As with all Thirsties products, Thirsties Pocket All-In-One diapers are made right here in the USA by a group of extremely talented women who sew in the comfort and convenience of their own homes.

Thirstes Pocket AIOs are about as absorbent as a pocket diaper with a Thirstes microfiber insert in it (or other 3 layer microfiber insert). This is absorbent enough for most babies for daytime use. For overnight or times when you can't change baby as often as usual you can add an insert/doubler to the pocket of the Thirsties AIO. Thirsties has the Fab Doublers for this purpose. Many other small size inserts or doublers can fit in the pocket as well.
