Fuzzi Bunz are a unique patented diapering system. The outer layer is made of soft polyester lined with a polyurethane laminate, for waterproofing, which keeps babies clothes nice and dry. The inside is soft micro-fleece, which prevents diaper rash by wicking moisture away from babies skin and into the absorbent insert. They fasten with snaps for an adjustable, secure fit. There is a pocket in the back of the diaper which you stuff with whatever insert(s) you prefer (each diaper comes with one microfiber Insert). This allows you to customize the absorbency of the diaper to meet the needs of your child. You may sometimes want to use more than one insert, like for overnight. We also sell a variety of hemp and/or microfiber inserts that also work well with Fuzzi Bunz, if you find you need more absorbency at certain times.

Measuring Your Baby
To measure your baby's thighs - Measure where the elastic of a diaper would normally be - around the meatiest part of the baby's thigh.
To measure your baby's rise - Measure from mid-back at the waistline to slightly below his belly where his/her diaper normally would come up to.
*Please note: These measurements take into consideration only one insert in the Fuzzi Bunz at a time. Always try your new Fuzzi Bunz on your baby with an insert for size before washing / using.
If the size chart is still baffling you...
Here is some additional information for you to use in trying to choose the best size for your baby:
- XS Fuzzi Bunz are for either preemie or very small babies - they will fit newborns very well, however, not for a very long time.
- Small Fuzzi Bunz will fit babies that are newborn (although they may be a tad big at first) through about 6 or 8 months of age when they are ready for the mediums.
- Medium Fuzzi Bunz will fit babies with either small or large thighs. Medium is our most popular size because babies stay in this size the longest! They will fit babies from about 4 months old (depending on their growth rate and size build) up to potty training stages.
- Large Fuzzi Bunz will generally not start fitting your baby until at the very least, 12 months old or are in the weight range or very tall.
- Petite, Toddler and XL are specialty sizes. Mediums have been found from our size testing to fit better and for longer periods than the Petite size diaper for skinny toddlers. XL can be used for older potty training children or other circumstances where larger diaper is needed.
All Fuzzi Bunz come with a microfiber Insert!
A word about the new style of Fuzzi Bunz - The new style seems to run larger than before. If your child has outgrown the old style smalls or mediums, you may want to give a new style small/medium a try before jumping up to the new style larger size. I would also recommend starting with Extra-Small size rather than going with small if you have a tiny newborn. The size chart from the manufacurer has not changed, these are just my personal observations.
*Photo above shows the zoo print in the old style. These are the same print, but are in the newest style.
