WillowSprouts Hemp Inserts

WillowSprouts hemp inserts are super soft, durable and absorbent, made from certified organic hemp and cotton. They are natural colored, with no bleach or harsh chemicals used to make them. They fit into most pocket diapers including Happy Heiny's, Fuzzi Bunz, BumGenius, Green Acre Designs Pockets and Mommy's Touch Easy Clean. Hemp is MUCH more absorbent than a standard cotton or microterry insert, which helps to keep baby happy and dry..... Hemp is VERY durable and wears in, and typically lasts longer than regular cotton! 

Hemp fabric contains natural oils that strip with repeated washing, thereby becoming more absorbent over time. They start out looking thin, but will fluff somewhat after first use, and do well in the dryer. They are as trim on your baby as a disposable!! Hemp is by nature more absorbent than cotton, so less is more!

Each WillowSprouts hemp pocket diaper insert has 3 separate layers of Hemp french terry material.   Hemp does shrink slightly after the first few washes.

Many pocket diapers now come packaged with a microfiber insert. This is often not enough absorbency especially for overnight.  A lot of people have found the combination of hemp and microterry to be a great solution for overnight in their pocket diapers.  You can't get more environmentally friendly than hemp/organic cotton. Microfiber is a man-made petroleum product, so if you prefer something more natural WillowSprouts is the answer.
