I have been road testing the Swaddlebees Merino Wool Cover for awhile now and have to say I am very impressed. It is the thinnest wool diaper cover I have found - so I was wary of how well it would work. But I am shocked at how great it works. I haven't had a single leak, no wicking, nothing! I have used it over my Swaddlebees Organic Velour One Size Fitted Diapers and also Dream-Eze Organic Cotton Fitteds. With both of those combinations I got a surprisingly trim fit and plenty of absorbency, even for overnight. I could actually fit pajama pants over top of the nighttime diaper and wool!

I go back and forth about wool. It is the most environmentally friendly choice for a cloth diaper cover, but I always had concerns about the bulk, and the potential for wicking. Swaddlebees has come up with a cover that solves those issues. And for those concerned about the feel of wool - this cover is VERY soft. It provides a nice snug fit, but doesn't leave red marks on babies legs. It is breathable, easy to wash (it can go in the washing machine!) I just can't say enough good things about Swaddlebees Wool Cover. One thing about wool is it can look a little pilly after a few washings - just get a sweater shaver and shave away, it will look good as new!
