Why Bamboo?
Why has bamboo become a popular fabric for cloth diapers? Bamboo is naturally antibacterial and anti-allergic, Bamboo is gorgeously soft and has healing properties, Bamboo is 70 to 80% more absorbant than cotton, Bamboo maintains these unique properties, even after frequent wearing and washing, it's absorbency even improves with washing. If that wasn't enough, Bamboo requires minimal water for growth, and with such a short cultivation cycle, the bamboo fiber is naturally renewable. It also requires no herbicides, fungicides, or pesticides in growing it, so there are no harmful chemicals that could come in contact with your baby. A great fabric for cloth diapers! The look and feel of Bamboo fabric varies depending on what it is mixed with -organic cotton, polyester, etc.
