Inserts, Doublers, & Liners

Inserts are the absorbent part of a pocket diaper. They are the part you "stuff" in the pocket to adjust the absorbency of the diaper. Inserts come in microfiber and hemp fabrics. You can also use a prefold diaper as an insert in your pocket diapers. Diaper Doublers are something you add to your prefold, fitted diaper, or AIO cloth diaper when you need a little more absorbency, like for overnight. Liners are usually a thin layer you add inside a diaper, next to babies skin. Flushable (disposable) diaper liners are used for easier cleanups. Other types of diaper liners are used when you want a layer of a particular fabric closest to babies skin - fleece liners or silk liners for example.
