Bumkins Diaper Covers are uniquely designed with extra features not offered in other brands. An air vent in the back of the cover limits heat build-up, internal elastic minimizes skin irritation, and an inside front "diaper pocket" prevents leakage and holds diaper in place. Made of waterproof fabric and trim with extra leg gussets to prevent leaks. Durable velcro closures. Hand or machine wash and hang dry. If your child is between sizes you may want to size up.
Bumkins covers work especially well over trifolded prefolds or contour diapers.

I have recently started using Bumkins covers again. They are my favorite diaper cover to use over tri-folded prefolds. I find some of the fuller cut covers allow the prefold to shift around too much inside the cover. Bumkins higher cut leg opening and trim design hold the diaper in place nicely. I use them with a hemp prefold folded into fourths topped with a fleece liner. This makes for a super absorbent system that is easy to take off and on. Bumkins covers fit well over Kissaluvs Contours as well. They are too high cut on the thigh to fit over some fitted diapers though. Bambinex Bamboo Fitted Diapers fit very well under Bumkins covers.
